View of Nymfaio (Νυμφαίο), a traditional, well-preserved village in Northern-West Greece at 1350m.
Most of the old houses and narrow streets are renovated and in some tourist guides Nymfaio has been named, one of the ten most beautiful villages in Europe.

At Nymfaio the well-known ARCTUROS, non-governmental organization (http://www.arcturos.gr/en/main.php) is operating. ARCTUROS is working for the protection of bear, wolf and in general for the wildlife conservation in Greece.

ARCTUROS Environmental Center only hosts bears and wolfs who cannot live free in nature. Most of them were taken from captivity and zoos.
